Welcome to BloggerTalk 2.0
Hi everyone, as you can see I’m in the middle of re-building this site. For some reasons BloggerTalk.com got in the targets of some SEO people and we’re getting the daylights spammed out of us. So, I’ve taken the queue along with the fact that I’ve been selling off most of my other websites and now have more time for things like BloggerTalk, and I’m going to try to do something nice here. So, please bear with me while it’s being rebuilt. You’re more than welcome to post in the forums in the meanwhile, it’s open it just looks like the default template of vbulletin is all.

Hi Peter. It seemed, at first, that the upgrade kept most spammers away. I had no idea you were having a spam problem. I also recently received a message telling me my account had been locked because of failed login attempts. I tried to access the forum today but all I got was a database error page.
Yea, the new weapon the SEO spammers are doing is fishing for less secure passwords for accounts. What it does is attempt to login to everyone’s account using common passwords, and the software we use locks out after a certain number of attempts. When the SEO finds an account that is using a common password it gets in the account and starts to send out spam by private message or spam posted in the forum.
Fried, it’s pretty good!
Its very true, SEO are using all medium to make their website possible and spam all the sites with their mails. Not only that they also try to hack accounts in order to gain popularity. If you take certain Spam filters and password security it will be easy to resolve this issue.
The reason you are getting spammed bad is because you are on many large lists circulating around the internet for DoFollow blogs. There are many wordpress plugins that can help you knock down most of the spam.
