I did a little experiment on one of my blogs just the other day where I posted a very controversial topic that was sure to tick a bunch of people off .. I really didn't get many open comments on it. However, my traffic of new readers went way up, my RSS subscriptions went up and my Alexa Ranking improved by over 100,000 in a few hours.
