Fake Steve Jobs Throws in the Towel

According to  his most recent posting, Daniel Lyons the “Fake Steve Jobs” is giving up his blog the Secret Diary of Steve Jobs.  One of the most famous parody blogs, Fake Steve Jobs gained thousands of followers and was one of the most widely read blogs over the past two years.

As with all good jokes, they become worn and tired with time.   Lyons is making a good move leaving while the blog was still popular.  For the first year of his tenure as Fake Steve Jobs, he remained anonymous creating a great deal of interest in speculation of who was behind the Secret Diary of Steve Jobs.

Lyons promises to start a new blog up, this time using his own name.  No parodies this time, but we would hope that the same wit and humor is brought along with him to his new digs.  He’s also announced a dead tree version of the former blog, with the “Greatest Hits” for fans who want to have a constant reminder, or a paper weight for their desk.
